Day 6 was basically the last day of our Leh, as next day, we had early morning flight. We chose to go on a
bike, instead of car, just like on Day 2. In general, all these places except for Alchi are nearby Leh and are generally covered on Day 2 itself. Our bike trip was amazing on this day(may be not for my husband who had to drive uphill) with
blue skies that felt almost reachable.
Sangam:
Sangam is the
confluence of two rivers -
Indus and
Zanskar, at
Nimmu Valley. This place is also claimed as the highest
rafting point.

Magnetic Hill:
Supposedly, magnetic hill will make your parked vehicle move upwards(which isn't really upwards slope). It's a small strip of the road indicated with white paint border. It's just a hoax and advisable to spend as much less time as possible here.

Gurudwara:
There's a Gurudwara just near Magnetic Hill, photography isn't allowed here. You can get a break from biking here to just sit in peace and there's also a small cafe beside the Gurudwara.
Alchi Monastery:
Alchi wasn't in our plan originally. We asked an army guy, how far was Alchi and he told us that it's just nearby Nimmu. So we just started off thinking how bad could it be, but it turned out to be 39 KMs away from Magnetic Hill and took us an hour to reach. And after reaching, we realized the monastery was closed for lunch. So we had to visit the only open restaurant nearby, which delayed our order forever. The monastery was finally open around 2 PM. You would need
ticket to visit it. It's a
10th century monastery, with several shrines of protector deities and Buddha.
Mandalas fading away on the walls can be seen. The
road to Alchi is very beautiful with
Indus river and blue skies, but if you really don't have time to visit this, then you should be fine - compared to other monasteries majestic views, this one doesn't have much to offer.
Likir monastery is nearby Alchi, but we were too tired to visit that.
